## Alert Summary:
Type O CME detected by STEREO-A COR2 / STEREO-B COR2
Start time of the event: 2012-06-14T14:09Z.
Estimated speed: ~ 1364 km/s.
Estimated opening half-angle: 50 deg.
Direction (lon./lat.): -9/-20 in Heliocentric Earth Ecliptic coordinates.
This CME is associated with M1.5 flare peaked at around 2012-06-14T14:08Z that was produced by AR1504.
Based on preliminary heliospheric modeling carried out at NASA GSFC Space Weather Center, it is estimated that the CME may impact spacecrafts near the Earth orbit , Spitzer, MSL, and Mars. The roughly estimated expected range of the Kp index is 5-7.
Simulations indicate that the leading edge of the CME will reach (plus minus 7 hours):

at MSL : 2012-06-18T11:33Z
at Mars : 2012-06-18T18:46Z
